ChocoSol - 52% Kakai + Cocao
Kakai and Cacao is a grounded, quietly distinctive chocolate that pairs 52% stone ground cacao with Ontario grown kakai pumpkin seeds. The seeds are blended into the chocolate for a smooth, nutty depth and also glazed with maple and sea salt for a gentle crunch and lift.
The result is balanced and satisfying. Earthy cacao meets toasted seed warmth with just enough sweetness to round it out. It is the kind of bar you break into slowly, whether alongside coffee or set out on a board to share.
Free of gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, additives, and preservatives. Contains pumpkin seeds and trace amounts of sunflower oil.
Founded in 2004 in Oaxaca, Mexico and now based in Toronto, ChocoSol is a craft chocolate maker dedicated to transforming cacao into small-batch, bean-to-bar dark chocolate. More than just a chocolate company, ChocoSol is a social enterprise rooted in ethical sourcing, ecological sustainability and traditional chocolate-making techniques.
With a name that honours the sun, soil and soul behind their craft, ChocoSol works in partnership with Indigenous communities across the Americas to source and stone-grind their cacao. Their chocolate is made without dairy, soy, or artificial ingredients, ensuring a pure, flavourful experience that respects both the environment and the people who cultivate it.
Guided by a vision of a food system that is people-centred and environmentally just, ChocoSol continues to lead and inspire within the craft chocolate industry. Each bar is a reflection of their mission: chocolate that nourishes the mind, body, and soil.
