Palo Santo

Palo Santo is an aromatic wood traditionally burned for its distinctive scent. When lit, the wood releases a warm, resinous fragrance with notes of citrus, soft smoke and gentle sweetness.

The Palo Santo offered at Farmer’s Son Co. is ethically sourced from Manabí, Ecuador. The wood is gathered only from branches and trees that have died naturally and rested in the forest before harvest, following the traditional cycle of the species.

Through the reforestation program behind this sourcing, new Palo Santo trees are planted and the surrounding dry forest ecosystem is actively restored, supporting both the landscape and the local communities who care for it.

Burned slowly, Palo Santo introduces a natural fragrance into a room, producing a soft, lingering aroma that settles gently into the space.
