Hand-Carved Mini Batik Spoon

Hand-carved in Kenya using traditional techniques passed down through generations, these striking little spoons celebrate the artistry of East African craftsmanship. Each is fashioned from ethically sourced, reclaimed cow bone, carefully cleaned and sanitized for food-safe use before being decorated with distinctive black batik stripes. The intricate pattern is created by applying beeswax to the natural white bone before dipping it into black dye, revealing a beautiful contrast of colour and texture.

Produced through fair trade practices that support employment for more than 50 Kenyan artisans, these miniature spoons are perfectly suited for serving salt, sugar, spices and other kitchen essentials.
