After the Rain captures the moment when a prairie storm's passed and the land begins to breathe again. The sky clears slowly, the air turns bright and cool, and the scent of wet leaves and pine rises from the forest floor. It’s a feeling familiar across Manitoba’s fields and lakes, when thunder moves east and calm settles back over the landscape.

The fragrance opens with fresh ozone and birch leaf, echoing the crisp air that follows rainfall. As it deepens, pine and balsam bring the character of rain-drenched forest, green and resinous. Beneath it all, vetiver and white cedar create an earthy foundation that grounds the freshness and allows the scent to linger softly in the space.

Developed in our Winnipeg lab and inspired by prairie skies and northern woods, After the Rain brings the clarity of the outdoors inside. It’s a scent of renewal, fresh air and the quiet stillness that follows the storm.

Each handmade box includes 30 charcoal incense sticks. Burn time is approximately 40 to 50 minutes per stick, releasing fragrance that lingers quietly in the room for hours depending on the space.

Our charcoal incense sticks are crafted in our Winnipeg studio using fine fragrance and dipropylene glycol (DPG), a synthetic base that's commonly found in body care and home fragrance products.

Light the coated end of the incense stick with a match or lighter, allowing the flame to burn briefly until a small flame forms. Gently blow out the flame so that a glowing ember remains and a thin ribbon of smoke begins to rise.

Place the incense stick in a heat-safe holder designed to catch falling ash and allow the fragrance to develop slowly in the space. Each stick will burn gradually, releasing scent for approximately 40 to 50 minutes.

Burn in a well-ventilated room and away from drafts or flammable materials. As with all incense, never leave a burning stick unattended and keep away from children and pets.

If burning your incense stick in a bowl or dish, wipe the surface clean after use. A thin layer of fine sand or salt makes an excellent base, helping to protect the burner and catch any falling ash.

Using a proper incense holder designed for sticks will allow ash to collect safely while the fragrance burns evenly and slowly.
