Sugar Heist is the perfect coffee for those that want to experience a hint of fruit notes in their coffee, but do not want a "fruity" coffee. This coffee is all about sweetness and introduces very subtle fruit and citrus flavours. The coffee is super balanced and aims to be an easy drinking crowd pleaser. 

The coffee in Sugar Heist come from an awesome producer from Santa Barbara, Honduras.

The Santa Barbara region of Honduras produces some of the most dynamic and flavourful coffees, known for their sweetness, fruit complexity, and depth. This blend brings together coffees from small farms throughout El Cielito, a region with a reputation for producing some of the best coffees in Central America.

Sourced from multiple producers, including farmers growing Pacas, Bourbon, and Yellow Catuaí at elevations of 1500-1700m, this blend is carefully curated to create a more balanced and consistent lot. Each year, Phil & Sebastian travel to Honduras, cupping hundreds of small lots to find coffees that complement each other, ensuring both longevity and harmony in the final blend.

Precision is key - coffees must be grown in close proximity and have similar varietal characteristics to maintain consistency in density and roast quality. When done right, the result is a coffee that’s greater than the sum of its parts: layered, expressive, and a true representation of El Cielito’s unique terroir.

This region holds a special place in the journey of Phil & Sebastian, having been one of the first coffee-growing areas they visited in Honduras. A drive through El Cielito reveals rolling hills, banana and plantain groves, and bamboo forests - all leading to a coffee community that has made a name for itself on the global stage, with farms consistently placing among the top in the Cup of Excellence.
