It feels like the hottest day of a Prairie summer.

The kind of heat that settles into the earth, bakes into the cedar and refuses to lift when the sun finally begins to drop. By evening, the air is humid, sticky and thick. Clothes cling before they’re pulled away. The sauna door closes, water strikes the stones, and steam floods the room.

Warm cedarwood, white oak and tobacco leaf deepen in the heat. Black pepper sharpens the air. Amber, oakmoss and leather settle close to the body as sweat beads across flushed skin, runs down the chest and disappears into the dark.

The room gets quieter. Breathing gets heavier. The cedar swells with steam. Damp towels are abandoned. Bodies shift closer on the bench. Outside, the night waits. Inside, nobody seems interested in cooling down.

Sauna was made to smell like that moment: hot wood, slick skin, heavy air and the charged, almost animal feeling of staying for one more round.

Deep, humid and feral at the edges, Sauna carries the heat of the day long after dark.

For this summer we've selected beautiful hand blown 10 ounce amber and clear bubble glasses for our Sauna candles. When the candle is finished, the glass can be enjoyed again as barware, a holder for small things, or however you choose to use it. A piece meant to be kept and enjoyed.

Crafted with 100% soy wax, fine perfume fragrance and cotton core wicks. Poured in our 10 ounce artisan blown bubble glass tumblers.

This candle will give you 55 TO 60 hours of burn-time enjoyment.

Always trim wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting (we suggest using a Farmer's Son Co. wick trimmer). The first time you light your candle, let it burn for 3-4 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container to prevent your candle from tunneling.

Follow the two foot rule - don't place your burning candle near clothing, books, curtains or anything flammable. Place candle holders on a stable, heat-resistant surface that is sturdy and large enough to catch any melted wax. Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans and any air currents. Never leave a burning a candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep or if the flame gets too close to the candle holder or container. A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/4 inch of wax remains in the container.
