Forged Utility Shears

Our Farmer's Son Co. forged utility shears were inspired by an old pair that I stumbled across a few years back while cleaning up my grandparent's farm. I called dibs on them and it’s been true love ever since. So much so that I wanted to share them with you.

Crafted from hand-forged cast iron, my take on this classic design are strong and sharp. I use mine in the garden, while trimming bouquets, to cut herbs and greens around the kitchen, plus they’re great for trimming candle wicks, clipping houseplants and a hundred other uses.

They’re so handy and I know will last you forever. Plus they make a great conversation piece that are cool enough to be styled with decor pieces, floral or greenery. Hang in your kitchen or at your potting station for quick access.

Please note that each pair of forged iron shears have been artisan crafted for Farmer’ Son Co. and as such, there may be slight differences in patina between pairs. Note that due to the nature of the carbon steel material, it is completely normal for the metal to develop a patina over time, with use and exposure to humidity and moisture.
